What are the entry requirements for students from Libya?
The entry requirements for Bachelors and Masters degrees at NTU for students from Libya are listed below. Select your qualification from the list to see what you need to join a course at the University.
Please note that these entry requirements are guidelines only. If you have questions about your qualification and it is not listed here, please contact us.
A grade of 65%+ will allow entry onto a Foundation certificate at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC).
A grade of 80%+ will allow entry onto International Year One course at NTIC.
Year one to Bachelors degrees.
Masters degrees (all courses other than subjects within the School of Computer Science):
2.1 = 65% or 'very good'
2.2 = 60% or 'good'
Students who studied the Libyan Higher Diploma for 3 years may still be able to enter a Masters degree, but will have to evidence relevant work experience.
Entry onto postgraduate masters courses:
2.1 = 65% or 'very good'
2.2 = 60% or 'good'
Entry onto postgraduate research courses:
75% + and quality of previous research
You’ll need an IELTS qualification at the appropriate grade or an alternative English language qualification accepted by the University.
Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course.
