Jeanine Herbst is a news anchor/reporter at NPR, where she anchors the hourly newscast/NPR One podcast.
She's spent more than two decades working in all areas of journalism as an anchor, reporter, editor and producer for all platforms.
Before joining NPR, she covered business, national and international news for several outlets, including: WUSA-TV (CBS), CBS Marketwatch, WAMU (NPR), WTOP News radio, Voice of America, the Washington Business Journal and her work has appeared in the Washington Post Magazine.
Herbst holds an MA from the University of Virginia, a BA from the University of St. Thomas and is an adjunct professor of audio journalism.
