Senza dubbio Realme 12+ 5G è un terminale che va preso in considerazione per un’utenza attenta non solo alle specifiche, ma anche al design e alla qualità costruttiva. In quest’ottica riesce a essere nettamente superiore ad altri altrettanto ottimi e prestazionali competitor, che però non possono vantare estetica curata e raffinatezze stilistiche invece presenti in esso. Solide per la categoria sono le prestazioni, mentre meritevole di menzione risulta essere il luminoso e ampio display, che con i suoi 2.000 nit di picco e un refresh rate di 120 Hz non teme confronti. Ottima è l’autonomia di esercizio, eccellente e sopra la media dei competitor invece la velocità di ricarica a 67W.

Realme 12+ 5G viene proposto in due configurazioni: si parte da 359.99 euro per la variante 8/256 fino ad arrivare a 419.99 € su Amazon per la versione con 12 GB di RAM e 512 GB di storage, sicuramente troppi tenendo conto sia della presenza dell’ottimo Realme 12 Pro+ sia di altri competitor agguerriti (penso al sorprendente Nothing 2). Tuttavia, l’offerta lancio (sempre su Amazon) per la variante 8/256 parla di 299.99 €, un prezzo decisamente più a fuoco che potrebbe renderlo interessante. A prezzo pieno, le alternative sono molte e faticherà a farsi strada.

Il Realme 12 Plus 5G è insomma un telefono completo a tutto tondo e che per un prezzo in offerta (su Amazon dal 20 al 24 maggio) di 299€ per la versione 8/256GB vi consiglio assolutamente. Pensate che il Realme 12 5G ha un prezzo di soli 20€ inferiore in questo caso ed una scheda tecnica nettamente meno performante. Se siete alla ricerca di un design più curato ma con una fotocamera e display leggermente peggiori potete prendere in considerazione anche il Realme 11 Pro che si trova spesso in offerta a 270-280€ ma soltanto nella versione 8/128GB. Su uno smartphone che comunque punta molto alle foto, ai video e alla fluidità generale reputo i 256GB ormai un must e quindi, al netto di un prezzo simile, vi consiglierei a occhi chiusi il Realme 12 Plus. Se preso invece a prezzo di listino pari a 349€ questo Realme 12 Plus diviene meno competitivo.

Le sue prestazioni generali lo fanno preferire senza dubbio a Realme 12 e 12X ma il prezzo anche qui è alto. Siamo a 359 euro in versione 8/256GB e 419 euro in versione 12/512GB. Molto meglio al lancio, visto che si scende a 299 euro per la 8/256 e quindi alla fine magari non lascerà il segno ma sì, ci può stare.

realme 12+ 5G si propone come un'interessante opzione nel segmento di fascia medio-bassa del mercato Android. Nonostante alcune mancanze più che consuete in questo segmento, il dispositivo riesce a offrire una proposta complessivamente valida grazie ad alcuni punti di forza distintivi. Innanzitutto, va dato merito al design curato ed alla solida costruzione, elementi che conferiscono al device un aspetto premium che va oltre il suo prezzo di posizionamento. L'ampio display da 6,7 pollici offre un'esperienza visiva luminosa anche sotto la luce del sole, e con una buona fedeltà cromatica sia per la riproduzione di contenuti, sia per l'editing senza chiaramente esigenze strettamente professionali.

Siamo davanti ad uno smartphone che a nostro avviso non può costare più di 300 euro, inutile girarci troppo attorno. Se guardiamo i suoi concorrenti nella stessa fascia di prezzo si difende bene per quello che offre, garantisce buone prestazioni e una buona autonomia, ha uno schermo OLED di buona qualità, ha il sensore d’impronte sotto lo schermo e ha memoria espandibile e jack audio. Ci sono altri competitor interessanti nella stessa fascia di prezzo, e ognuno ha i suoi pro e i suoi contro: Honor 200 Lite, appena annunciato, mette sul piatto und design sicuramente più convincente se guardato di fronte, ha uno schermo che sembra decisamente più moderno, ma non ha sensore d’impronte sotto lo schermo, non ha la fotocamera super wide e ha un processore peggiore.

Realme 12+ è uno smartphone che si sceglie prevalentemente per il suo aspetto, perché di fatto è la caratteristica più riuscita dell'ultimo nato dell'azienda cinese: anche se non esattamente rivoluzionario (si rifà alla versione Pro che a sua volta aveva riproposto concetti già espressi dalla serie precedente) il design del dispositivo è di indubbio impatto e si abbina a dimensioni e peso piuttosto contenute. Un bel telefonino, dunque, che per il resto fa il suo dovere senza strafare: display, fotocamere e velocità di ricarica non si discostano in maniera particolare da quanto offerto dai migliori competitor sulla piazza, mentre è il SoC a ritrovarsi qualche passo indietro rispetto alla concorrenza.

Come avrete capito leggendo questa recensione, realme 12+ 5G ci è piaciuto. Per un prezzo di 359,99 euro per la versione da 8+256GB e 419,99 euro per quella da 12+512GB, offre un pacchetto completo e una buona fotocamera principale. Il problema è la concorrenza. In questa fascia di prezzo, ormai quasi tutti i brand offrono un “campione della fascia media”. La stessa realme posiziona poco lontano il suo realme 12 Pro+, specie nella versione 12+512GB, che su Amazon costa una decina di euro in più dell’omologo della serie “non Pro”, che non ha il sensore periscopico.

È uno smartphone che riesce a distinguersi indubbiamente per il display di qualità, per la batteria e la fluidità derivante dal connubio hardware e software. Non spicca invece sui restanti ambiti in quanto seppur sia in grado di fare buone foto con la principale, il suo fratello più grande (il cui prezzo non si discosta molto) potrebbe essere preferibile trovando a cifre solo leggermente superiori. Insieme a Realme 12+ 5G è stato annunciato anche Realme 12 e Realme 12X, ecco le schede tecniche a confronto.

The Realme 12+ is an interesting device. It definitely has an exquisite design with standout aesthetics. There is plenty more to like here, such as solid rear cameras, a very competent stereo speaker setup, pretty good battery life, and competitive charging speed. The Dimensity 7050 inside the Realme 12+ may not be the fastest chip around but it's hard to find something more powerful for that kind of cash. It has enough power to run the UI and most daily tasks and apps smoothly, but you can't expect much more. The Realme 12+ also handles its high refresh rate very poorly, with practically no dynamic switching and very limited high refresh rate gaming abilities. Even so, the Realme 12+ seems like a good value device at its current price point, and it's got our outright recommendation.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido.
