The P.F. Chang's China Bistro restaurant at the Shops at Riverside Mall has been shut down by the Hackensack Fire Department.

The "Order to Vacate" notice posted on the restaurant door is dated July 2 and states: "The building is declared unsafe for human occupancy. No individual is to occupy this building until the structure is rendered safe and secure."

On the restaurant chain's website it states that the Hackensack location "is currently closed for construction and/or maintenance."

An "Order to Vacate" notice, dated July 2, could be seen on the P.F. Chang's restaurant at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, N.J., on Friday, July 5, 2024.

Attempts to reach the city of Hackensack and P.F. Chang's, which has nine locations in New Jersey, were not immediately successful.

There are over 300 P.F. Chang’s restaurants in 22 countries, according to the company's website.
