For Tommy Pham, late July often means moving cities.

The Chicago White Sox outfielder is no stranger to being flipped midseason and three times has been traded within 48 hours of the deadline. It likely that Pham — who currently plays on baseball’s worst team — will once again be relocating by July 30.

“Getting traded in the middle of the season is one of the toughest things in baseball -- probably in any sport,” Pham said, via ESPN. “Because, you know, you got to pack up all your stuff and leave and get readjusted and reacclimated.”

Last year, the Mets shipped Pham to Arizona at the deadline where he hit .241 with a .720 OPS, six homers and 32 RBIs in 50 games, helping the Diamondbacks to the World Series.

In 2022 The Cincinnati Reds signed Pham to a one-year contract then traded him to the Boston Red Sox. In 2018, the St. Louis Cardinals traded him to the Tampa Bay Rays at the deadline.

Pham is hitting .268 with a .705 OPS and four home runs for the 26-67 White Sox. As part of his contract with Chicago, Pham gets a $500,000 bonus if the team trades him at the deadline.
