PILESGROVE TWP. -- Two team ropers took the top prize money at Cowtown Rodeo Saturday night.
Jose Mota of Monroe Township and Kenny Brown of Keedysville, Md., paired up to place first in the team roping event with a time of 6 seconds flat.
They each took home $1,086.40 in prize money for the evening.
Here are the results from Saturday night's performance. They include the contestant's name, score or time, and winnings:
Bull Riding: First, Mike Adams, 72 score, $703.12; Robert Carter, 70, $575.28. (Each contestant's winnings include $191.76 in ground money.)
Bareback Bronc Riding: First, Brayden Roberson, 75 score, $424.88; James Carter, 73, $318.66; Scott Bevins, 72, $212.44; (Tie for fourth) Tim Kent, 70, $53.11 and Andy Carter, 70, $53.11.
Saddle Bronc Riding: First, Robert Haley, 76 score, $368.48; Joe Farren, 75, $276.36; (Tie for third place) Trey T. Watts, 69, $138.18 and Clovis Crane, 69, $138.18.
Steer Wrestling: First, Blake Naglak, 5.8 seconds time, $601.60; Tyler Miller, 6.7, $451.20; Chad Stoltzfus, 11.2, $300.80; Clay Harp, 12.1, $150.40.
Tie-Down Roping: First, Cord Spradley, 13.5 seconds time, $481.28; Cory Kirk, 15.8, $360.96; J.R. Myers, 18.1, $240.64; Colby Clement, 18.9, $120.32.
Team Roping: First, Joe Mota and Kenny Brown, 6.0 seconds time, $1,086.40 each; Cody Johnson and Colby Clement, 6.7, $814.80 each; Lavern King and Ty Miller, 7.1, $543.20 each; Chuck Smith and Kevin Brown, 7.2, $271.60 each.

The rodeo continues every Saturday, rain or shine, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cowtown Rodeo arena, on U.S. Route 40 through Sept. 30.
