Rutgers Rant: Does football have its best recruiting class ever? Plus, how hoops looked at summer workouts

Another week, another major recruiting victory for Rutgers football.

Greg Schiano’s program added a 28th commit to its highly-touted 2025 class, and this might be the best of the bunch so far. DJ McClary, a four-star linebacker out of Snyder High in Jersey City, flipped his pledge from Penn State to the Scarlet Knights on Saturday.

The Rutgers Rant is back to discuss what that addition means for Rutgers, whether it now positions the 2025 class to surpass the historic 2012 group and more. We also discuss how the men’s basketball team looked at one of its workouts in the first week of its summer program.
