An N.J. game-changer gets a fail | Letter

Effective July 1, the New Jersey Lottery doubled the cost of each Jersey Cash 5 ticket from $1 to $2.

In doing so, they added a feature by using the last number of the five numbers drawn as a “Bullseye” number. This is supposed to be a multiplier allowing players to win more money.

It really does not do that for non-jackpot winners, compared to the previous ticket cost and rules. The change looks like just a cash grab created by the lottery commission.
