The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $95 million with a cash option of $45.7 million.
The winning numbers were: 4, 9, 36, 47 and 56. The Powerball drawn was 7 with a Power Play of 5X.
No one across the country hit Monday’s $84 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold nationally.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 5, 6, 36, 53 and 69. The Powerball drawn was 8 with a Power Play of 2X.
A ticket holder in Kentucky won the secondary $10 million Double Play drawing on Monday. There was no second-prize, $500,000 winner across the country. Those winning numbers were: 1, 31, 33, 54 and 60. The Double Play number drawn was 26.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $116 million with a cash option of $55.4 million.
