Bayonne residents were treated to an early Fourth of July treat Tuesday night with the city’s annual fireworks show.
Pyrotechnics lit up the evening sky over 16th Street Park, thrilling kids of all ages. The attendance was in the thousands, Bayonne Office of Emergency Management officials said.
“Thanks to the Bayonne Recreation Division and Bayonne NJ Department of Public Works for doing a great job in setting up an enjoyable evening,” OEM Director Junior Ferrante said in a Facebook post. “Thanks to all our great first responders (Bayonne Police Department, Bayonne FD, McCabe Ambulance, Hudson County Sheriff, and Bayonne OEM) for keeping everyone safe.”
