Player of the Year: Michael Suarez, Cherry Hill West, Sr.

Michael Suarez entered the season as one of the underrated weapons around the state. As the year went on, he was no longer a hidden gem and became a major threat. Suarez led the Olympic Conference with 231 kills and helped Cherry Hill West win its first-ever sectional title. Suarez finished with 10 or more kills 11 times this season. During the biggest games of the year, the Lions made sure to set their biggest hitter. In the quarterfinal of the South, Group 3 tournament, Suarez finished with a career-high 28 kills and added 12 digs. This was his second 20-kill game of the season. Suarez showed a relentless mindset when on the attack to go along with great athleticism. He added 28 more kills during the Group 3 final.
