William Mullins’ fever had spiked to 105 degrees. His already labored breathing had grown painfully difficult with every gasp the teenager took.
William Mullins, a captain of the Kearny boys volleyball team and 2022 all-state selection, missed all of last season after being diagnosed with leukemia. He's now in remission and was granted a 5th year by the NJSIAA so he could finish out his high school career.
