After Camden-Manasquan debacle, politicians propose instant replay for clock decisions in playoffs

Upon further review, at least two New Jersey lawmakers believe instant replay should be introduced to high school basketball playoff games immediately.

In light of the blown call that sent Camden to the Group 2 boys’ state championship game instead of Manasquan in March, bills have been introduced in the state Senate and Assembly that would require the use of instant replay for game clock decisions in NJSIAA playoff tourney basketball games.
