WATCH: Pingry girls celebrate 1st ice hockey state title

Fifth-seeded Pingry won the program’s first-ever state title with a 2-1 win over third-seeded Immaculate Heart in the NJSIAA Girls state championship game at Prudential Center in Newark.

Pingry became the first team other than Morristown-Beard to win the girls hockey title since the tournament’s inception in 2020. Morristown-Beard won the title in 2020, 2022, and 2023, and defeated Pingry in last year’s final.
