At times, the Pingry girls hockey team thought first-year head coach Rich Fuchs might be crazy.
After starting the season with two defensive pairings, Fuchs decided to trim the number of blue-liners to three. It would be up to Mae Lange, Keira DeCroix and Lolly Ackerman to anchor the back end in front of Kate Niccolai.
