Early on in the season, Lenape coach Sean McAneny started to see signs that his team was capable of big things, but it wasn’t until a game against Manasquan on Jan. 27 that he truly started to believe it.
The Indians were down 18-7 after the first quarter and trailed 30-18 at halftime, but managed to battle back in the second half, outscoring the Warriors 21-13 in the third quarter. Lenape ended up losing that game 62-55, but McAneny knew then that his team was rather remarkable.
