Mendham Head Coach Roy Hamblen has been apart of many championship-winning teams, but even he could tell there was something that made this team different and special.
With many of the same runners returning from the previous year, The Minutemen went from a fifth-place finish in Group 3 a year ago, to taking home the state title this season, much in part to the guidance and wisdom of Hamblen.
