Woodbury’s Shute, NBC’s Gordon qualify at Foot Locker Northeast cross-country meet

Woodbury senior Peyton Shute, who was second in the NJ Meet of Champions, entered Saturday’s Foot Locker Northeast Championships at Franklin Park in Boston with one goal in mind – earn a trip to San Diego.

Shute, who has competed for the combined Gateway/Woodbury team in high school, earned a trip to the Foot Locker National Championships on Dec. 9 at Balboa Park in San Diego by finishing fifth in Saturday’s race in Boston.
