For the seventh straight summer, NJ Advance Media will pick the hypothetical Mount Rushmore of a high school’s athlete program.

And one of Sussex County’s finest in Sparta is nearly on the clock.

We are in the process of researching the names to be featured in the poll, which will be posted on July 20, but we’re also asking you, the fans, for some input.

In an email to akoob@njadvancemedia.com, send us your nominations for Sparta’s Mount Rushmore. Please include the athlete’s graduation year, the sport(s) he or she competed in and anything notable about his or her careers (both high school and beyond). Photos of these athletes would be helpful as well.
