Bon Jovi’s new album “Forever” debuted last month, but has showed little staying power on the charts.

While “Forever” debuted at No. 5 in its first week of release, the album plunged out of the Billboard 200 album sales chart the following week, Forbes reported. While there’s a possibility that it could still return in the future, “Forever” marks the first Bon Jovi studio album to only last one week in the Top 200 in its first two weeks of charting eligibility.

The band’s previous album, “2020″ which came out that year, stayed on the charts for two weeks, debuting at No. 19 before falling 126 spots the next week.

Prior to release of “Forever,” Bon Jovi embarked on a high-profile press tour which including the premiere of Hulu’s “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story,” which which chronicled Bon Jovi’s journey to fame, and featured exclusive and never-before-seen footage and demo songs from the band. The series also explored Jon Bon Jovi’s medical issues and recovery from vocal surgery.

Throughout the press tour, Bon Jovi, 62, spoke often about his vocal surgery and the fears he had surrounding on whether it would impact the future of his music career.

“I’m very capable of singing again,” he told NJ Advance Media in April. “Now the idea is that we need to get the bar up to two and a half hours a night, four nights a week.”

The band hasn’t announced a tour and Bon Jovi previously said he doesn’t think he’s able to perform a full-blown tour though they did play a surprise five-song set including debut single “Legendary” to celebrate the opening of Bon Jovi’s new bar, JBJs, in Nashville, Tenn. last month.
