Eagles cornerback Zech McPhearson was watching the final of the high school seven-on-seven tournament between Millville High School and Pleasantville High School at Stephen J. Giangiulio Memorial Field in Voorhees Township, which he and defensive tackle Milton Williams co-hosted and sponsored Friday evening. The venture was an avenue for he and Williams to give back to the community.
McPhearson was watching the plays develop from midfield as the teams were moving toward the endzone, both vying for the $5,000 grand prize that the schools could use towards equipment for the upcoming season.
