These awards acknowledge excellence in teaching, research, scholarship, artistry and engagement, and result from a rigorous application process involving academic peers, students and external partners.

The Presidential Engagement and Partnerships Professors (PEP) honors professors who create and nurture external partnerships for mutual benefit.
The Presidential Teaching Professors (PTP) honors professors who inspire excellence in and out of the classroom and connect students to the real world.
The Presidential Research, Scholarship and Artistry Professors (PRSAP) honors professors who are recognized nationally and internationally for their research, scholarship or artistry.
