I worked for Verizon in their Center for Customers with Disabilities and it was a humbling experience. Dealing with customers who were blind, deaf and/or cognitively impaired, call after call, reminds one of how lucky they are. I love my coworkers and have made life long friends. The atmosphere was always warm and supportive and I adored my personal supervisor. The pay and benefits are amazing and it is just an overall great place to work!
Verizon Wireless is a great and strong company when comes to the services they provide. They are truly the best. However, their customer service teams and billing teams need an update on handling customers with care. When comes to paying there employees they should do more.
Verizon is a great company to work for! Awesome benefits! Great amount of vacation time but they take the time to really take care of their employees! When i was working back at the center, we had lounges to relax in during breaks. We had a cafeteria, we get trainings once a week to go over all the new products and services we offer as well as positioning help. Leaders are always interested in our lives outside of work to make sure we have great work life balance.
