Experienced Employee: I work at the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton, New Jersey. I think this is a place of comfort and safety for all ages. Children who enter the Gingerbread House and KinderKare youth programs are treated with care, kindness, and respect. It is a place where youth can learn in an engaging environment. As for the staff, I believe they are trained well. They must complete childcare training hours and be CPR/First Aid certified, which I believe is extremely important in life-threatening situations. The classrooms are spacious with an endless variety of activities for the children to do like art, math, letters, cognitive skills, and motor skills. If I were to improve anything, it would be our parking lot. I know there is limited space for cars, but I believe they should purchase a lot nearby to help give as much space as possible. Not to mention they really have been very helpful to the entire company since Covid-19 started and we all have been quarantined.
