Depending on the administration of your school, it can be very challenging to obtain materials or even gain feedback from those in higher positions.
Low pay but work with good people. A standards of education for children and adults with autism. Good holidays and benefits.
I began working for the DOE as a paraprofessional about 2 years ago and so far I have no complaints. Each assignment is its own unique experience that has taught me so much. I enjoyed the immediate exposure and the trust of my coworkers to do my job.
