You will find diversity and inclusivity in the employee community of the AHS system. It is a great place to work because of the support provided my the managers and higher management. Employees are also fairly paid.
AHS is a company which outreaches its abilities at the expense of its workers and patients. Money is the motivation. Understaffed facilities, overworked employees, and no money to be found for raises or new resources. Sad.
Have been with the company for about 5 years now. I have learned so much within the health field. I work in an office that works with several hospitals in getting the patients where they need to be in order to have better care and services that are not provided there. Working in the background, you get to see and hear different situations and how they are handled amongst peers and management. It’s a high paced working environment but it has taught me a lot a lot about time management and triaging what’s critical and what is not. The only thing I would change is management. I wish that they would listen to staff more because we are the ones that deal with the hectic situations on a day to day basis.
