Akron is a distant runners paradise. I made heavy use of a couple of the multiple city parks and the Buckeye Trail. The large running club in Akron is called SARC (...I greatly enjoyed everything about Akron EXCEPT for the abundance of cloudy days. The West side of Akron is considered more safe than the east side.Akron is also quite close to the outdoor Blossom Music Center. Big name artists like Jimmy Buffet plus The Akron Symphony Orchestra. Make this venue wonderfully unique. Moved to Wisconsin from Ohio, more sun.³.
