Living here is a dream! The tallest skyscraper to the east and a path of fitness motivation to the west. If you want the “take me out of New York City while being right in the center of it” feel, Battery Park is the spot for you!
I have lived in this neighborhood since I was two and it has changed a lot over the years. I have loved living here throughout my childhood. As a child, I enjoyed going to Rockefeller Park, partaking in neighborhood activities such as art and sports, and walking along the Hudson River. Over the years more stores and nearby tourist attractions have appeared which has made it an exciting place to live. Some changes could include stringent rodent control and an increase of trash cans, to avoid trash ending up on the ground.
One of the best areas to do almost everything in New York City. Movie theaters, amazing park for kids, amazing to eat a meal, walk to clear your mind or take someone on a date, play basketball with some ballers, expensive shopping, play volleyball, have a picnic, ride bike, and more.
