Living in Los Angeles has been an extraordinary experience!
What I love about LA
1. Endless Entertainment: Los Angeles is a hub for entertainment. Whether it's attending a live concert at one of the iconic venues, including in a pop up event, or exploring a myriad of art galleries and museums, there's never a dull moment. From the excitement of Hollywood to the relaxed vibes of Venice Beach, the variety of things to do is unparalleled.
2. Beautiful Weather: The LA weather is simply fantastic. With its year-round sunshine, mild winters, and breezy summers, it's the perfect backdrop for outdoor activities. Whether it's hiking in the Santa Monica Mountain, relaxing at the beach, or strolling through a farmers' market, the weather makes it easy to enjoy anything.
Areas for Improvement:
1. Homelessness: The visible presence of homelessness across the city is heart-wrenching, and more effective and compassionate solutions are needed. Addressing this issue through better housing polices

Being born and lived my whole life in Los Angeles, I am confident to say Los Angeles is a very inclusive, but dangerous place to live in. There is a lot of diversity, however, there have been a couple racist encounters I have had in my over 17 years living in Los Angeles. Everything here is accessible; there is almost always going to be a supermarket around the corner, a dollar store, etc.. This is a great advantage because I have traveled to other states in the United States, which only have a supermarket near by and any other store is miles away. This accessibility is because of how many people live in Los Angeles, for it is a packed city, which has a great down side. This means there are a lot of unhoused people anywhere one goes making most of the city unsafe. I personally know this because my family members have gotten harassed and assaulted by those unhoused, and I have also personally been harassed my a much older unhoused man, while I was walking home.
Los Angeles is a great place for culture. There are plenty of concerts, clubs, galleries, museums, bars, markets, and other events that take place every week or weekend. There plenty of points of interests to visit, such as Hollywood, Disneyland, and the Griffith Observatory.
However, these good points are all leisure based. Los Angeles as a residency is not so great: It is filthy, very expensive, increasingly family and child UN-friendly, and the city is legendary for our homeless population! The class disparity is becoming more and more obvious, so some areas of Los Angeles have better schools, better security, cleaner streets, etc.
What I would like to see changed to make Los Angeles better is common amongst other Millennials in my tax bracket:
1) Affordable Housing; no more "luxury" apartments with theaters and pools people don't actually need
2) Better Sanitation with stricter anti-littering policies enforced
3) More public parks and recreational areas for kids and families
