West Broward is truly a great school! Over my past three years there is has been a terrific establishment. I would say that my favorite parts about my school would be the athletic and career programs it offers students. Many students are able to become certified in various different career readiness programs, which is fantastic! I would say my worst experience with the school would be with food that they cater to students. Overall West Broward is great and I would recommend it to students coming from different school.
I have met some of the most wonderful and kindest people in this school. Whether they are students or staff. This is important to me because being in such a big school in the heart of Pembroke Pines it obviously has its downsides and its people that will not match your energy. I have to give a huge thanks to my Emergency Medical Responder class and teacher Mrs. Osman. This woman helped me understand what I wanted to be and how I wanted to change... for the better. She was always there when I needed someone to tell my stories about the hospital (I do clinicals at a nearby Emergency Room at a hospital) and she is always willing to hear me out. In the end, while this school has changed me a lot as a person, and I have made a huge jump from freshman to senior year, that girl will always be there and even better because she will be there with her people.
West Broward high school is an amazing school. As soon as you step into those doors you feel a sense of family within each and every person whether you know them or not. The safety measure throughout the school are something they take seriously there to ensure the students safety at all times. The classes provided there for us are extremely helpful and help better prepare us for our next step along our journey: college. I love everything about this school, I just wish there was a little more school spirit.
