The Hewitt School Reviews
Rating 4.51 out of 5 93 reviews
I am a prospective parent and have been leaving reviews for other parents in hopes that it will help them in deciding where to send their child. Two things stuck out to me. One thing that seemed rather regrettable was that they have Jewhatred and Muslimhatred on the same page on their website. The two cannot be compared. I don't know if they have a consultant, but they should get a better one. The conflation of these issues thinks this institution must be a woke/DEI nightmare. The second that left me scratching my head was seeing a video of parents being showcased in an acapella group during a school concert. I want to send my children to a school where there aren't parents vying for the spotlight with their own children. There are plenty of places for adults to pursue their hobbies without using the time given to the students to shine for themselves. Hard pass Hewitt.
I have really enjoyed my time at Hewitt. The faculty there take pride in the fact that they prepare you for college by treating their students like adults. All of the classes are college level and challenge students. One thing I would like to see change would be the college process. I think that more diligence and organization are two skill that could be approved upon.
I enjoyed my years at Hewitt and would like to send my daughter there someday. It was truly a place to build a solid foundation for life. I will be starting to apply to schools for her next year. I am pleased to hear that the cringy head of school and head of the Parents Association will no longer be there when my daughter is old enough to apply.
