The College Academy at Broward College Reviews
Rating 4.4 out of 5 1,004 reviews
I am a recent graduate of College Academy at Broward College. When I first entered College Academy in my 11th-grade year, I was nervous about what to expect. However, these feelings immediately disappeared. The administration is phenomenal and heavily focuses on preparing you for college from the moment you step in. The guidance counselor is the best you could hope for. She is very thorough and ensures you are always on track. The school culture is about academics and excellence. However, you can still enjoy yourself with Friday Cares and network with the lifelong connections you can make. The curriculum is college-level courses from Broward College that prepare you to write and think like a college student. After having recently graduated and enrolling at a Florida university for my undergrad, I feel so prepared and I am extremely grateful for College Academy. I would highly recommend those who are interested in taking charge of their futures to enroll in College Academy!
College Academy is a wonderful high school that provides student with the opportunity to receive their Associate of Arts degree while graduating from high school. It is academically rigorous, but provides many different resources to help provide students with help. This school helps student prepare for the transition from high school to college in exemplary ways. Students learn to manage their time better because they have college schedules while at this high school.
Attending College Academy has been a great experience so far, the students are provided with countless resources for college (this includes scholarships, summer programs, college essays, etc), and the education we are given is of great level. Great student body, great opportunities, and great professors. The dedication of professors and staff to make sure students succeed is notable and admirable. The students are given useful information for the next step after high school that would not be given in a regular high school.
