Sophomore: Minnetonka School District is one of the best school districts in the state of Minnesota. As a choir kid not only does it have some of or considered the best choir, orchestra, band, and theater programs. It’s home to some of the best athletics. From great hockey, to being able to run in cross country. It has multiple clubs ranging from all different types of interest. There is a community for everyone, and I have been able to find one at Minnetonka. Teachers are always so helpful willing to take time out of their day to help you. They care about us and strive to teach us. Our coaches and directors build very inclusive communities. And the arts programs recently were able to go on tour in Italy and Austria. Senior: The best part about EPHS is the atmosphere of community. The teachers and students want to do their best. If I could improve something it would be the disparate technologies that all school systems have in place. Schoology doesn't work with Infinite campus which doesn't show completed work. Alum: The Mounds View public school district is known for its good achedemics and it really furfilled that promise. I felt that the district was lacking in forming connections with other students because of the lack of fun group activities. The entire district is too strict with their rules and regulations and I believe thag they should be cut back. It made it tough to want to go to school when you had to use an online bathroom pass to leave class, which was limited by the total amount of students in the hallways so there was never a chance to go. Junior: During my time at Rosemount high school I have had a mix of some amazing teachers and some that I didn't mesh well with. The elective/specialists teachers I have had have all been highly qualified and present to work with. They all work really hard to put on the extensive shows Rosemount puts on. On the other hand some of the academic teachers I've have I personally didn't mesh with. One of these teachers was my tenth grade inver prep teacher who would snap at us and made me cry on finals day cousing a server anxiety attack. I would say that my district is progressive but I would like some gender neutral bathrooms. The people who attended Rosemount don't make a deal about who uses what facilities but I think that it would help the school be more inclusive. When I was giving a tour for incoming freshman it was a concern of one of the students. Overall I would say Rosemount high school is a great school amd I'm glad I get to attend.... Read 151 reviews

Junior: I have been attending mahtomedi for 13 years. my journey started in preschool because my father wanted me to have the same experience in his hometown as he did. My dad grew up in mahtomedi and moved back once I started school. I have loved my years at Mahtomedi, it is a smaller district than some, so it's very easy to make, and stay connected with a lot of friends. Most of the people that attend Mahtomedi have been going to the district since kindergarten which makes a lot of us have connections from previous grades. All of my teachers are great, they are awesome teachers and awesome friends as well. it is easy to talk to teachers because our school is so small. Our sports team have also gotten a lot of acknowledgment because sometimes we go to state or win championships. The sporting event environment is great and it's so much fun to represent a school that you have been going to for so many years. I love our schools and i will forever be a zephyr.... Read 22 reviews

Senior: Waconia has great teachers and academics but the problem is the students. There’s cliques so there’s always tension among everyone and if you aren’t involved in a club or sport, you are considered an outsider. Also the administration only cares about money and how well you do on the MCA test so they get more funding. The school year of 2023-2024, they decided to make us pay for parking passes per trimester so about $150 per driving student plus they are making us pay $145 for prom. The administration is in a lot of debt and is now using the students to pay off that debt. On the bright side, Waconia does offer AP, PSEO, etc. and it has made everything so much easier getting into college since you would have college credits under your belt by the time you go to college. However, some colleges don’t accept PSEO credits so look into everything. The guidance counselors will be able to help you if you need to figure out where to go. Alum: During my experience at Northfield High School I had best and worst parts of my experience, as most would. The best part of my experience was definitely all of the connections I made. I felt I bonded with peers and teachers a ton and I still have those connections even today. Another highlight would be my teammates. In high school sports are a big deal to student athletes, but nothing is better than having support from teammates and coaches. I played basketball, tennis, and golf so I got to experience this in many different ways and each one was so fun and rewarding. The worst part about my high school experience was that it took place during a time of covid. Having to do school remotly is exhausting and I know teachers worked extremely hard but it ws just not the same as in person. Also the cafeteria food. Senior: I love my school district and have been in this district since I moved here in 4th grade. Some of my favorite things in this school district is the musical involvement they give kids. I participated in choir in 4th grade, I was in band from 5th to 8th grade and in orchestra from 6th to 12th grade. However, like any other school district, we have our problems. During my middle and high school years, the district has struggled with drug, violence, and racism. My high school went under a lock down because of a malfunction and was in if for over three hours. Even so, my school district has done it's best to not only work past it, but make it so the student have a better and brighter future. When Chaska High School was struggling with black-face and racism, they send in a team to help the teachers work out the problem and find ways to make school better. Senior: I have truly enjoyed attending Springfield all these years. I started here in Kindergarten and and going to graduate this spring. The environment and teaches make this school an awesome and fun learning environment. This school pushes their Moto, “Learning For All” through making sure all students no matter what academic level, are thoroughly educated. In Elementary, our principal taught us to be “Respectful, Responsible, & Safe” which the students definitely thrive with. Our Teaches love to see the students succeed. This school also focuses on getting the students involved in extra curricular activities suck as sports, yearbook, NHS, etc. This school takes pride in their sports and works hard to make the players the best they can be. This year 2022-2023, the Football team has made it to the final round and is scheduled to play at the State Championship.
