Living Wisdom School of Palo Alto
Senior: I am a rising Senior at Living Wisdom High School, and these past few years that I have spent here have not only given me a rigorous academic experience but also fostered a community of support. The academic load, while tough, never feels like too much, and teachers are always willing to help out after school, during lunch, or snack. The community is wonderful since it is a smaller school, Juniors, Seniors, freshmen, and Sophomores all come together during breaks to play sports, and games, or engage in fun conversations. We are all encouraged to dive as deep as we can into our learning, with student lectures, Socratic seminars, and Presentations about our learning. We also value service in our school, whether that be spending time in nature working on restoration projects, or going down to our lower school and spending time with kids, service is at the heart of living Wisdom. There is much that I haven't mentioned, but it is a school that has changed my life for the better.... Read 30 reviews
