Senior: I transferred to this school when I was in 11th grade, and it was a huge culture shock. I went from the top of my class to an average student. I had to learn to study, as other schools hadn't taught me proper study habits.
I recommend enrolling at BASIS as soon as possible so you can have more time to adapt to the rigorous curriculum.
Throughout high school, students take mandatory AP classes, and the exam fees are covered. Most AP classes are available to all high schoolers. The only downside to the AP classes is that sometimes, they make you rely too much on the AP test to boost your grade. The teachers make sure that their content is almost as hard (or harder) than the content on the AP tests in order to better prepare their students for the real test.
