Sophomore: As a rising Sophomore at Notre Dame Academy High School, I am definitely satisfied with the supportive, enriching community that I am surrounded by. As a freshman, I was very nervous to go to high school, as I was afraid the academic and social transition would be challenging. Yet, through admission events and the whole school year, NDA was so welcoming, especially its student leaders. Due to the school's values of community, it was easier for me to make friends and I felt like I belonged. Reflecting back upon my experience, the school's academics and extra curricular programs are exemplary, enriching, and helped me grow as a student and person. Specifically, my classes challenged me to build my critical thinking skills, organization, and time management. In addition, the school's various extracurriculars like Rocketry and drama production was engaging and made me appreciate innovation and the arts.
