The administration and everyone there is absolutely amazing. The school does suffer from a very small subset of vandals and otherwise unsavory students, but the struggle lies on the part of the students, and administration has in no way been soft on these issues. The teachers are incredibly kind and personable, and have required office hours throughout the entire day. The school is not for the faint of heart, though, as it is a rigorous school offering high-level college courses in a state not known for good public education.

Review Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics

OSSM is the greatest school in the state, with excellent students and (mostly) excellent teachers. However, the administration is incompetent and has made many poor choices over the last two years. The teachers is great and cares about students, with a few exceptions like Dr. Chaves. Besides Dr. Chaves, the humanities department is generally underrated, having the best humanities class I have taken, beating those at Casady. There are some bad aspects, but attending OSSM is a generally good experience and I recommend going there.

OSSM is a challenging but rewarding school. It will push you harder than you ever have, and require so much, but in the end you figure out how to manage it and overcome the challenges it sets before you. It can be tough a lot of the time, but you can look back and know you have actually learned a lot which makes it worth it.
