Minnehaha Academy stands as a beacon of educational excellence amongst private schools in the Minneapolis area. Our family has enjoyed the academic rigor, spiritual growth, and enrichment opportunities and sports that help complete a well-rounded education. My two children enrolled in middle school and made the transition to high school with ease. They have appreciated the dedicated staff who remain committed to mentoring students through the challenges of adolescence and the counselors who provide personalized guidance as students prepare to attend college and beyond. If you are a family seeking a nurturing school where faith, high academic standards, and character development are important, consider putting Minnehaha Academy on your 'A' list of schools to attend!
We've been part of the Minnehaha community for 20 years, with 3 children who have worked their way from kindergarten through high school. Our children have been incredibly well prepared for college, easily making the transition to excellent universities across the country. Beyond being academically prepared, and as equally important to us, was their education in becoming good, respectful adults who understand the importance of community and faith in their lives. The care and devotion to our children is palpable across the many teachers that have become part of their lives, and ours. The leadership also understands the importance of diversity within the student body, making the school more accessible to many across our community, and we are all better off for it. We know we could not have found a better place to educate, and raise, our children.
We have been part of the Minnehaha Academy community since just before the building explosion in 2017. It is a wonderful community built on solid faith and academic foundations. The school is fully committed to the holistic needs of the student. The faculty and staff are caring and dedicated to the mission of the institution. In addition to excellence in core academics, the opportunities for fine arts and athletics are also exceptional for a school of MA's size. The institution has only gotten stronger since the tragedy of 2017, and I expect that the next generations of students will reap the wonderful benefits of the M institution and community.
