From High Tech Los Angeles

Thank you for considering HTLA for your high school.

HTLA is a small, charter high school that has been one of the highest performing high school in Los Angeles since 2004. We are a college-prep high school. All students, all of them, take a rigorous college readiness curriculum. We believe there are many options for people after high school, but college is the most restrictive, so we work to help students get ready for college success. We use project-based learning, group projects, and extensive student presentations to help students get ready for the adult world. 80% of our 2020 graduates went to a four year college or university.

Our faculty emphasizes building a connection between themselves and our students. This trust is central to our process of helping show students that while we set very high standards, they are capable of achieving them. When teachers and students work together, great things can happen.
