A (B) grade for diversity hardly, should be more like a D. Students of color struggle there socially. The community as a whole struggles with DEI. There are hardly any families of color in St. Anthony and that’s exactly how they plan to keep it. The district gets away with this because the few students of color who do attend their schools live in New Brighton. St Anthony itself is lilly white by design.
What I liked about St. Anthony is the people. The people are nice, there's nothing wrong with them. It's just the atmosphere there and the vibes you get. It's kind of a layer of sadness in those buildings and you can feel it everyday.
St. Anthony is a school that does an excellent job at preparing students for future education. There’s a vast amount of extra-curriculars and sports that keep kids active and involved.
