Overall, my experience at Upper Dublin has been positive. I joined the district in 2nd Grade and am now in 12th Grade. The teachers, facilities, and curriculum are amazing. The only issues I've had regarding some of the staff members. I have hearing loss and in previous years I've had substitutes have ablist behaviors towards me. Thankfully, the principal handled it. Overall, the environment is great.
Safety is a big Concern. Cafeteria food is nasty. I have never bought lunch my entire 12 years in Upper Dublin School District. School Sports take anyone who tries out. Coaches not helping in the recruiting process for college but want to be recognized and patted on the back when their player gets into a school.
Teachers are personable and want to help their students succeed. Lack of electives makes it hard to pick something you would want to come to class for.

This is a public school thinly disguised as a college prep school, putting extremely high expectations and work loads onto children from a young age. Sure there are very nice and loving faculty members with great ideas for curriculum but if you are a child with learning disabilities, 504s, or an IEP most teachers are not forgiving or respectful which is such a great shame. Neurotypical children are pushed to their limits to succeed and those who cannot keep up struggle and struggle hard.
