I would like to see an orchestra class at Mooresville high and also some more clubs. The only clubs were major organizations through the USA (NHS, HOSA, etc.) and not many student led clubs. There were some, however I was disappointed as there was not a lot to choose from.
Mooresville graded is decent. Safety should be prioritized more than it is especially for high schoolers. The sports is phenomenal but could use coaches other than teachers that are only in it for the money.
I have been at this school for the past 3 years and I have liked it for the most part. When I first moved here, I felt welcomed by the marching band/color guard although I didn't really feel welcomed by the rest of the school. Still to this day, I feel a disconnect from my peers in my classes. I wish the school had more school events like more dances or just things to bring students closer together. However, I did love the diversity of class choices. I always had a hard time choosing because there were so many different classes I wanted to take. I do think staff need to be more strict about vaping and weed at school. I know that everyone is aware of it, but many teachers and staff ignore it and don't do anything about it. It's to the point where I can't walk around the school without smelling weed and it honestly is really annoying. There isn't as many drug tests as there should be.
