Rating 4.06 out of 5 35 reviews
The school district is fairly small and all students attend one high school in the county. This really helps the students make friends with people in different parts of the county.
The school system is very supportive and emphasizes "one family". Various DE and AP classes allow students to strive and prepare for college. School involvement and spirit are heavily pushed on the school. I would work on the school schedule and structure to better benefit the students. There is a diverse range of sports, clubs, and organizations. Although I have experienced a plentitude of stress due to the workload of my classes, I believe the stress you experience has a direct correlation to the courses and routes you choose to take.
Louisa County Public Schools have proved to go above and beyond when it comes to preparing their students for the road ahead. College is a breeze thanks to Louisa County Schools. Not only do they prepare their students, they also take pride in this and in their extracurriculars. Sports, theatre, clubs, etc. all receive recognition for their accomplishment. At Louisa County, they really do make it feel like a family. Go Lions!
