Rating 4.11 out of 5 28 reviews
Lakeville is a school district that prioritizes the wrong things. Yes, they have an amazing sports program and their facilities are truly remarkable, but the value for the students and true education is simply not there. As a student, I either had good teachers or teachers who pushed their own agendas and gave little thought to the impact that their own ideals were having on an impressionable class of students. Education in this school district has become less about education and more about what the teachers feel like talking about on any give day.
We have been incredibly happy with the teachers! I was a substitute para and substitute teacher so I got to know a lot about the schools and staff. We are very lucky! Hopefully we can revamp out school board and get a new super intendent sooner rather than later to match the caring and supportive staff outside of the district office.
There is allot of bulling and kids vandalize things and do not get in trouble. Teachers are disrespected for standing up to kids and parents. Kids get away with everything and treat teachers and staff badly and are not held accountable for anything. They roam the halls instead of being in class.
