Hopkins high school
Hello my name is Willow Tolck
I am a sophomore in Hopkins high schools as-well as attended Hopkins public schools for all of my education. My overall experience with Hopkins public schools has ranged throughout my years of education. I’ve found that during the early stages of learning there isn’t as many options for gifted learners to excel. Leading them to be in a class to far above or below their learning level. Which continues through out the following years.
Hopkins is a diverse school including all races, religions and gender orientations. They excel at acknowledging all groups with different clubs, assemblies, and online resources.

These reviews are terribly old. Things in the Hopkins School District have changed drastically and not for the better. No longer an award winning school, and considered the "hood" by our neighboring districts.
North Middle school has 40 scholars in a typical classroom and teachers are blowing whistles to get the kids attention, and North is currently considered the better of the two middle schools. Alice Smith lost an amazing principal during Covid and the replacement is anything but amazing and seems determined to undo all the qualities that made Alice Smith a wonderful neighborhood school.
The district has adapted a holistic approach to school safety and to student instruction. If you are considering this school district for your family, visit, ask questions of current families, ask about restorative practices, ask about the holistic approach to school safety and instruction, ask about current test scores, and read reviews the current post Covid reviews.
