As someone who was blessed with the opportunity to continue her education at such an incredible thread of education our county has provided after a challenging time in my life, I will forever rave on Heard County School Systems. Since moving schools at the end of my sixth-grade year, I knew the faculty and staff in this community were my biggest fans, supporting me through any trial I may face. Pushing me to not only overcome foreseeable challenges, but to grow through them as an individual as well. The staff and administration want to see their students succeed, as they wish to set us up for the best possible chance of flourishing in their later adulthood. As a senior in high school who has major upcoming decisions for her future, I've been blessed with many resources and mentors to guide me through this frightening process. Heard County sees its students as more than an ID number, you become their priority and are loved as their own family.
I have had a good experience with the schools, but it would be better if there was appreciation for all activities not just football.
Heard County High School has been a great school academically and socially. We have phenomenal teachers and a very valuable support system.
