At Bromfield, I was able to learn at a pace that was perfect for me while also feeling prepared for a college level course. The teachers are dedicated to making sure students challenge themselves. I found myself asking the question "why" throughout high school when learning different material and this helped to better understand what I was learning. Although the learning aspect was great, the social aspect needs lots of improvements. Students at the school form very tight knit social groups and exclude anyone who does not fit into them. I was often bullied by many of the students because I did not have a group of people that would accept me. This made group work in class difficult and made me feel less connected to the community. I would love to see students more willing to accept each other and be open to new friendships.
