My high school experience was significantly impact by covid, however ETHS took quick measures to adapt to online learning. ETHS has so many teachers that are committed to their subjects and to sharing it with students. I appreciate all the resources that are available for students, college app help, specific subject tutoring, and personal life help.
When I first started high school my life revolved around a soccer ball. I was the sport and my worth was entirely determined by how I performed within it. My sophomore year I developed an overuse injury which has kept me off the field for the past two years, and it was for this that ETHS became my outlet for discovering who I was beyond my physicality.
For better and worse, I have been left with solely the person within the body, and because of this, I have had to discover who that is. At the high school I have been given the tools, community, and environment to find pride and purpose detached from my physicality. Throughout my classes, I discovered my passion for writing and public speaking which I intend to pursue throughout my life and career. The friendships I have formed here have not only shown me the love I have for others, but also the ways in which I am loved and valued not by my past physical identities, but rather the character of the person within them.

Evanston Township is a really good school, not only with its giant size but also with its resources. The school also has a lot of resources for college readiness, including teachers that help with the FASFA, schoolinks, and scholarships.
