Rating 4 out of 5 21 reviews
This school is pretty nice. I moved here this year, 2024, so I’m still experiencing new things… but I like it so far! They really know how to be kind to everyone. I wish we had more counseling though… and more teachers or helpful people or just students, also more AP classes.
At Eagle Ridge Academy you learn very quickly that if you don’t put in the work you won’t make it through, even if you are smart, doing the work, working with the teachers and the students to make sure everything goes well is challenging, learning to make things work for you is what we do here. And when I go to college I think it will be easier to figure out a system that works for that school and me.
I have been at Eagle Ridge Academy since I was in 6th grade. Since then I have witnessed many growths within the schools infrastructure and community. To start, the academics and teachers are phenomenal, especially as you get higher into the grades. Through my experience from middle school to high school, my best teachers have been in my junior and senior years. I have noticed that the policies have gotten more strict as the years have gone by, but this is mostly due to the increase in population of student body. The middle school has grown a ton since I was in it, my class size then was about 130 in 6th grade and by the end of 8th grade it was down to 80. At this time, the 8th class is almost 120 students and even more 6th graders. Overall though, the school is amazing in almost every regard. Our sports teams are not necessarily the best but that is usually due to students going to public schools for better sports teams, our academics though, and academic programs are very very good.
