Bedford public schools is a wonderful school district and puts a big emphasis on the mental health and academic growth of their students. I would like to see more funding going to the actual school environment however (fix broken stalls, buy fresher produce, etc.)
There were very limited class choices. Although my school did offer APs, I was not allowed to take AP English Lang. after I got a 5 on the Literature exam. I also did not appreciate how hard the administration made it for students to take multivariable calculus. So many students were turned down from the program for reasons unrelated to academics.
Teachers care about results and are committed to kids success. I feel I am challenged in each of my classes including my senior year. I also play varsity soccer and the team culture is good.
